I watched #1 of the JTBC drama “My ID is Gang-Nam Beauty.” It was a mixture of drama that there were a Gang-name beauty and her youth campus life and coming-of-age. It’s probably saying, “Is it good enough for one person’s life to get beauty by taking plastic surgery?” I spotted one song Su-a (who is Kang Mi-rae’s rival in the drama) was singing. That is "Bye bye my blue" by Yerin Baek(JYP, 2016). It’s a soothing song. I love her voice! I feel she wrote about feelings that fear of the future and uncertainty of oneself make one not plunge into love completely.
While watching this tv show, you could find various keywords: Ugly Duckling, Swan, I Know What You Did Last School and Lookism. JTBC drama in South Korea “My ID is Gang-Nam Beauty”- Gang-Nam is not any gang. It is located in the southern area of Seoul in South Korea. The meaning is south of the river in the Korean language. Drama title means typical artificial beauty -a beautiful woman at Gang-Nam.
