Tony's middle-age crisis!
- Tony Sopranos suffering from panic attacksTony who is Italian gang lives in New Jersey is supposed to deal well with business work and housework but they make him suffer causing him to fall into panic attacks.
Finally, he visits psychiatrist(Jennifer Melfi)'s office. He talks to her about his gang work and housework up to too trivial and detailed matters.
Therefore he gets to take antidepressants, Prozac. Drama shows dividing his gang work with house matter. He would like to get stuck to duck which healed him but never returned to his pool. Because he thought he begins panic attacks as soon as ducks leave his pool. Especially of his burden, his mom is major problem for house matter.
One job He solves, another troubles he gets into by someone.
Getting something off his chest to anyone
- Most people are two types of which is either fighting or avoiding while going through stressful situation. If we have strong opponent, we will avoid but if we are strong enough to bear, we will fight. Tony is close to the latter.
- The most intriguing moment in this drama is Tony's talking scenes with Dr. Jennifer Melfi. Of course, he's patient and is getting something off his chest to Jennifer. Sometimes He get a miff and get off jennifer because of Dr.'s saying he didn't accept such as he hates his mother.
- Actually he is a perfectionist struggling to deal with two works. Besides he's earnest patient to like talking to Dr. How can he fix two job? Will he be able to find out his ducks?
- The Sopranos has a typical Italian gang movie cliche - as solving process especially, shot dead or being smashed scene every time per episode - and with new stuff relating consulting a doctor. but new stuff pays a role reflecting Tony's various stories like a narration.
