Two friends kidnap their wealthy friend. They demand a ransom from the friend's mom. The mastermind is a medical college student Song Jae-hyo(Kim Dong-hwi), and the accomplice is Lee Jun-seung(Yoo Seung-ho) struggling with gambling debts. The story resembles those often seen in the social section of newspapers, portraying the volatility of young friendships when they are living hand-to-mouth. However, things start to take an unexpected turn when the victim's mom brings in a gangster. What will happen to the two guys and their victim? 'The Deal' delves into crime material, reminiscent of 'Ozark.'
