'Crash Course in Romance' is tvN's romantic comedy. The original title is 'Ilta Scandal'. which means technically an Ilta lecturer comes across a rumor. But this TV Show title is ironic with a comic approach.
The early drama shows the everyday life of Choi Chi-Yeol(Jung Kyung-Ho), an math Ilta lecturer(instructor) in Gangnam, and the hot-blooded side dish shop owner Nam Haeng-Seon(Jeon Do-Yeon) and his family.
Chi-Yeol was nervous about an inappropriate rumor with a student. When Nam Jae-woo(Oh Eui-Sik) takes a picture of him, he misunderstands him as a paparazzi and demands to delete the picture. However, Jae-woo refuses it. Even his older sister, Haeng-Seon, joins in, and a small quarrel turns into a commotion.
The Chi-Yeol's choice is to escape the situation by running away with Jae-Woo's cell phone. Haeng-Seon, a former national athlete, pursues him. He barely escapes the crisis by running away to the men's restroom. However, he is close caught by her hidden, but he throws Jae-Woo's cell phone and runs away from her.
In episode 1, the romance between the two hasn't started yet. Perhaps it is likely to begin when Nam Hae-yi(Noh Yoon-seo) enrolls Choi Chi-yeol's class.
At the end of episode 1, it is revealed that Haeng-Seon is Hae-Yi's aunt. Hae-Yi asks her aunt to let her take Choi Chi-Cheol's class. Talking about the private academy was difficult to her because Haeng-Seon was her aunt, not her mother. It was a drama worth watching over the weekend.
